General Practice Improvement Leads programme – applications open
Applications are open for the next cohort of the General Practice Improvement Leads programme, starting in September 2023 and held in person in London. The programme is a six-day nationally accredited programme, focusing on quality improvement tools and techniques (improvement science) for service redesign and leading others through the associated change. Participants develop new skills personally and are able to further an improvement priority for their practice(s) by applying the learning.
Applicants must bring a small-scale improvement challenge to work on that can be tested at practice level, for example improving processes such as care navigation or specific recall systems or optimising the uptake of online consultations. The programme is designed for those working in general practice and those Primary Care Networks working directly with general practice may also apply. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis to those eligible.
Participants on recent cohorts commented:
“I realise I have more power to change and influence positive changes in my workplace.”
“I have changed my mindset and feel ready to tackle difficult conversations /situations.”
Interest is expected to be high so please apply as soon as possible. Applications close 25 August 2023, or earlier if oversubscribed.
