One of our speakers, Dr Lucy Pollock has just been featured in a recent issue of Tablet Press. The review of her latest book was a featured article.

The Book About Getting Older by Dr Lucy Pollock

Whilst Tablet Press does not usually cover book reviews it is highly recommended that all of you read this book! Within the book Dr Pollock, an experienced geriatrician, uses patient “stories” as a frame for providing wise and compassionate advice about dealing with the challenges that arise with getting older. Whilst the book is aimed at the general public since it covers topics such as polypharmacy, stopping medication and joint decision making there is a lot we can learn from it as clinicians. Dr Phil Hammond wrote the following about it 'Wise, compassionate, well researched and very broad in its coverage. I've learnt a lot that will help me both as a doctor and a patient'

All Places are now booked for the NMP Conference - Look forward to seeing you on the 4th July!
