What to expect

The programme will treat delegates to a wealth of inspirational speakers on the four streams chosen for 2024.

  1. Inspiration and leadership will help build your confidence in leading change, banishing imposter syndrome and starting a movement.
  2. Financial and legal advice will explore maintaining safe practice, negotiating the stress of an inquest and financial tips.
  3. Kick starting your early career explores the opportunities available to you in the first few years of practice and how to address them confidently.
  4. The Future of General Practice explores where our career may take us, the trials and opportunities down the road and getting the contract and profession you want and deserve.

The day will also address some of the areas which many newly qualified GPs find difficult or wish to explore in greater depth such as preparing for an inquest, finances, top tips to maintain safe practice and getting the contract you want!

We know that our programme will keep our next generation of doctors invigorated, informed, and inspired. It will re-energise us all to bring fresh ideas about the endless possibilities that a career in General Practice offers us!
