The nominations for the 2024 National BAME Health and Care Awards is now open and will close at the end of June 2024.
What is the National BAME Health & Care Awards?
The Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff and allies from across the health and care fields in making significant improvements in career development support for Black, Asian and minority ethnic staff. This includes exceptional initiatives and leadership, and the improvement of services, or access to services for people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
Award winners can be from any background but need to demonstrate that they have made a positive and sustainable difference to the lives of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people ie, staff, patients, and users of services or communities.

Awards Ceremony - 26 September 2024
The National BAME Health and Care Awards Ceremony will take place on 26 September 2024. This year, the Ceremony will be combined with a seminar/conference earlier in the day on ‘Diversity and Inclusion in Health and Social Care’.
The venue for the Awards Ceremony will be confirmed shortly.
