3-day Leg Ulcer Assessment & Management Course
• 2 days Leg Ulcer Management & 1 day Wound Management
• Once all 3 days are completed, the nurse is then deemed competent to assess and manage leg ulceration independently
• Wound Management and Compression Bandage sessions can be attended as stand-alone modules. The full 3-day course is for Registered Nurses (RN) only. The Compression session and Wound Management are open to all clinical staff
Competency Checks (Doppler & Compression) are arranged via the Tissue Viability Team (dates below).
