This Enhanced User guide may be useful for you to print off or share with your colleagues:

Here is the link to create an account and start your digital journey: Digital Journey Planner, all you need is your ODS code and email address to register. Here is the link to the ODS Portal if you need to look this up.

This 3-minute video explains the purpose of the Digital Journey Planner, feel free to share it with your team.

Each module contains 3-5 assessments of approx. 20 questions each.  Each assessment should take no longer than 10 minutes, depending on your level of knowledge in the practice.

You can work at your own pace and encourage as many members of the team as appropriate to create accounts and complete the assessment questions, in order to reduce the workload for Practice Managers.

The aim is to learn together and promote discussion and consistency in your team and across practices.

Once an assessment is complete, an implementation plan is available to help confirm your good practice, and you can create your bespoke action plan which includes guidance where there may be opportunities for improvement.

Below you will find the link to the landing page for the national events we mentioned during the session, where you will find registration links for the upcoming Redmoor sessions on “Social Media in Primary Care” and “GP Websites – Improving your digital front door”. Should you be unable to attend a session these will be recorded and links to view the recording will also be posted here too.

Digital Journey Planner – Enhanced Access (redmoorhealth.co.uk)

The first available modules are:

  • Patient Communication: Includes help and advice about GP websites, social media and use of messaging.
  • GP Online Services: Explores how to enable online access for services to reduce unnecessary contact to the practice for simple things such as ordering medication, booking and cancelling appointments also covering registration and proxy access.
  • Digital Inclusion: This module will help practices to provide services that can be easily and affordably accessed by patients with different levels of digital confidence and health literacy.

Further modules will be released over the coming months, usually quarterly.

For assurance, all assessment responses remain confidential to you in the practice and the implementation and action plan is yours to decide when to use.

We hope that this will provide opportunities to discuss at your PCN meetings, perhaps to agree priorities on topics to work on together.

This may also help you to identify any support you need when future Digital First funding applications are requested by your ICB or ICS.

If you are unsure or have any further questions, please do get in touch or contact support@redmoorhealth.co.uk
