October's PLT

We will be delivering an engaging and impactful session focused on health inequalities, healthcare literacy, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) for both clinical and non-clinical staff working in GP practices across the county.

Our objectives are to:

• Build a shared understanding and raise awareness of health inequalities and how we can engage effectively with our communities.
• Explore the local picture and how these inequalities affect our patients.
• Highlight areas of high deprivation and communities disproportionately impacted.
• Share insights on patient experiences.
• Provide practical EDI training and discuss findings from our healthcare literacy working group, including strategies to reduce health inequalities, translation device for reception staff)
• Conclude with a wellbeing session to support our staff.
